March 16, 2020

Noel King with Deaf Community Services explains about COVID-19.

TRANSCRIPT: Deaf Community Services (DCS) Behavioral Health Department is OPEN! We do understand that some people are concerned regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) as we are following the news and getting messages from families and friends. You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and worried. You are not alone. We empathize with you. If you feel that you need to walk-in for counseling service and express your feelings/thoughts, please feel free to come here and we’ll be here to listen to you. If you prefer to stay home and receive counseling service through videophone (VP), call us. If you need community resources and/or mental health tools, contact us and we’ll provide it. We are here for you. We support you and your health. Think positive and we’re in this together. If you aren’t feeling well, you can call your Doctor or clinic and they can guide you on appropriate steps to take.

If you have any have any questions/concerns, please call or email us: Stefanie Everton-Lovell, Lead Clinician, at 619-550-3432 or severton-lovell@dcsofsd.org
