Deaf Services Advisory Council (DSAC)

Deaf Services Advisory Council is a council made up of community members here in San Diego that will be feeling the pulse of the community here in San Diego that receives services from Deaf Community Services of San Diego (DCS).

DSAC plays an important role in ensuring that DCS continues to better understand the community they serve, improve their services to the community they serve here in San Diego.

The council has a meeting once every few months where they discuss different feedback they’ve received from many members of the community that DCS serves, and they’ll discuss what the DCS board needs to know.

A DSAC representative will join the monthly board meetings and provide a report. DCS board will then incorporate that feedback into their strategic plans and work in ensuring that DCS works towards those goals.

There are three officer positions, Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary available. We also can have five to nine Elected Voting Community Member Positions We need more people like YOU to join DSAC. 📌 Saturday, 1/30/2021, 10 AM – 12 PM: 

DSAC Meeting announcing new DSAC Officers. From there DSAC officers will take over running the meeting and begin voting on the nominations until 7 community member positions are filled.
