Deaf Literacy Program
Become Successful in the workforce
To become independent and succeed in the workforce, the program provides individuals with a variety of useful tools. Many of our trainees include immigrants from other countries as well as the United States. We promote multiculturalism in our classrooms.
The program also includes an educational and vocational assessment to determine the individual’s needs, as well as making recommendations for progress towards success.
LEAD – LANGUAGE, EMPLOYMENT, ASSESSMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
The LEAD services assist individuals in enhancing their general literacy abilities so they can enroll in college, earn a GED, obtain employment, pass a written DMV test, become US citizens, and pursue careers.
