Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Statement
At the heart of our commitment to DEI, Accessibility is the recognition that every individual within the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deafblind, and DeafDisabled (DHHDB) community deserves diversity, equity, and inclusion. Attributes that are necessary to cultivate a culture of belonging. We firmly believe in creating an inclusive environment that ensures proper access to information that will provide resources and opportunities for all members of the community.
We believe that accessibility is a fundamental human right. We acknowledge the diversity that is present in our community. Our pursuit is to establish an inclusive atmosphere, where individuals can be their full selves without the fear of being discriminated.
Our commitment to the community means we are completely dedicated. Our goal is to eliminate any obstacle that may exist. We recognize that systemic barriers have historically ignored DHHDB individuals, and we strive to provide full access for all.
We recognize that our work towards DEI is an ongoing process. We adapt our resources to fully accommodate any individual. We welcome feedback from our community. We continue to work together to guarantee we provide high quality service for all members of the DHHDB community.
